POSITION TITLE: CWE Team Member/Flex
REPORTS TO: CWE Manager

POSITION SUMMARY: The CWE Team Member is a part-time seasonal member of the Camp Wyman Experiences Team who ensures that guests and spaces are cared for properly. The duties may include overseeing site management by monitoring a group, addressing their requests, and ensuring their needs are met. This also includes kitchen responsibilities, such as preparing and cooking nutritious meals for various groups and ensuring compliance with health regulations and food service standards. Additionally, housekeeping duties across the campus are required, including cleaning buildings, organizing laundry, and performing routine maintenance. Overall, the duties combine site management, kitchen operations, and facilities upkeep to maintain high standards across the entire campus. Hours can typically be up to 30 per week during the summer and fall, with varying hours for winter and spring.

FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
Essential Functions
- Safely prepare and cook meals in a timely manner, adhering to menu specifications, portion sizes, and health regulations while using the FIFO method.
- Ensure proper storage and labeling of intake, leftovers, and prepared items to maintain food safety and minimize waste.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization, following all health and safety standards, including dishwashing and food handling procedures.
- Perform routine cleaning of buildings across the campus, ensuring spaces are tidy, organized, and meet cleanliness standards.
- Complete laundry duties, including washing, drying, and organizing linens, following proper procedures for handling and storage.
- Monitor and maintain general upkeep of facilities, ensuring that spaces are safe, clean, and fully operational.
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of chemical safety, equipment usage, and proper maintenance procedures for kitchen, maintenance, and housekeeping tools.
- Overseeing groups’ arrival and departure, maintaining communication with the group throughout your shift, and addressing the needs of the group.

- Ability to produce high quantities of food without compromising quality.

Location: Works over the entirety of Camp Wyman’s Eureka campus.
Equipment Used:
- Basic kitchen equipment including tilt skillet, convection oven, mixer, warmer, gas oven, and industrial dishwasher.
- Basic housekeeping equipment including dermal cleaners, cleaning carts, vacuums, and backpack vacuums.
- Basic maintenance tools.
