Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Membership Sales Manager to lead membership acquisition and retention efforts for the Wynwood Chamber of Commerce. This role is an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional who thrives in sales, relationship-building, and business development. The ideal candidate will play a key role in expanding our membership base, building strategic partnerships, and representing the Chamber across Wynwood and Miami.
As this is a fully remote position, the Membership Sales Manager must be self-sufficient, organized, and driven while actively engaging with businesses and stakeholders in the Wynwood community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and engage potential new members, including local businesses, entrepreneurs, and professionals.
• Develop and execute a strategic plan to increase membership acquisition and retention.
• Conduct outreach via phone calls, emails, social media, and networking events to build relationships with prospective members.
• Clearly communicate the value of chamber membership, including benefits, resources, and networking opportunities.
• Manage and maintain a pipeline of leads, tracking progress and follow-ups using CRM tools.
• Build strong relationships with existing members to ensure engagement, renewals, and potential membership upgrades.
• Represent the Wynwood Chamber of Commerce at networking events, business meetings, and key industry gatherings to build partnerships and promote membership.
• Work closely with businesses in Wynwood and key partner businesses in Miami to enhance collaboration and business opportunities.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement campaigns that attract new members.
• Attend virtual meetings and occasional in-person events (as needed) to engage with prospects and members.
• Provide regular sales reports and insights on membership trends and opportunities for growth.
• Assist in identifying funding opportunities, including grants, to support chamber initiatives (grant writing experience is a plus).
