Description
Functions/Duties: Act as financial liaison for the Lubbock operation, providing financial information, analyses, modeling and guidance to the Lubbock Team and the X-FAB group. Participate in the construction and validation of the financial statements.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, models and propose improved/alternative method(s) in accordance with group guidance.
- Perform detailed financial analyses.
- Review and create financial transactions to correctly report manufacturing and cost activity.
- Create and maintain product standards costs, margin analysis, ROI calculations for CAPEX, R&D and other projects.
- Produce reports/financial data for management team, global parent company, governmental agencies, etc.
- Maintain/Update system to allow proper collection of financial data.
- Back up Accounting Manager and Fab Controller/Director.
- Handle special projects as needed.
Current Skills/Competencies:
- Strong math skills.
- Good computer background with working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint and databases.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively and efficiently.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proven team worker and self-starter.
- Power BI and general ledger accounting experience a plus.
- ERP experience (Microsoft Dynamics AX / SAP/ SharePoint a plus).
- Technical understanding a plus
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
BBA in Accounting, Finance or Economics. 5 years Planning & Analyses or equivalent and budgeting required. Manufacturing and general ledger experience preferred.
