What will you do?
The Accounts Payable Auditor manages Easterseals New Jersey’s AP function, overseeing an external vendor to ensure smooth operations, strong controls, regulatory compliance, accurate payments, and adherence to internal policies.
- Vendor Oversight: Act as the primary liaison with the outsourced AP vendor, ensuring SLA compliance, auditing processes, and resolving discrepancies.
- Process Oversight: Oversee invoice workflows, ensuring policy compliance and efficient communication with stakeholders to address payment issues.
- Process Management: Develop and optimize AP workflows, implement best practices, and collaborate with the vendor for continuous improvement.
- Reporting & Analysis: Analyze AP data, prepare performance reports, and provide financial insights to senior management.
- Team Collaboration: Foster strong vendor relationships and work with the finance team to enforce policies on vendor setup, tax compliance, and payment terms.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Skills: 5 years of experience in auditing, accounts payable, finance, or outsourcing, including public accounting or internal audit.
- Experience: Strong knowledge of accounting principles, nonprofit financial regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Attributes: Strong project management, organizational, analytical, and communication skills, with a detail-oriented, problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Full Time Monday - Friday
