Job Summary
The bilingual in English and Spanish Human Resources Specialist will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the Human Resources (HR) department. This role involves overseeing recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and employee relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Manage onboarding and orientation processes for new employees.
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations and HR inquiries.
- Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and FMLA and Personal leave requests.
- Maintains employee records, ensuring completion and accuracy of details such as employee contact information, job classification, pay rates, organizational structure, and other key details.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in HR or related roles.
- Knowledge of HR software and systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, Monday).
- HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are often preferred but not required.
