What You'll Do
The Development Operations Facility Lead/Fabrication Operations Senior System Health Lead provides Fabrication representation and oversight on all strategic efforts related to Depleted Uranium Modernization.
Responsibilities:
- Represent as the Development Operations Facility Lead/System Health Manager of the area assigned during absences or as needed during conflicting schedules
- Assist the System Health Manager to prioritize equipment and support organization needs across Fabrication Operations
- Coordinate with production management to understand production and program deliverables in order to support area and site priorities and eliminate restrictions
- Support efforts to remove out of service equipment, installations for new equipment, and retrofits to existing equipment
- Represent Fabrication Operations on various project teams and updating the management team on status of various projects
- Participate in the technology modernization of various efforts to include tracking and securing funds for various efforts related to equipment and process installations
- Lead efforts to risk assessments and developing one-pagers to prioritize improvements/large repairs in the areas assigned
- Assist teams in developing area master plans and schedules for the assigned Fabrication Operations facility
- Prioritize and follow up with maintenance, engineering, and support group tasks to establish expectations and provide guidance for target dates for work execution
- Serve as the management system owner for the tools utilized for system health monitoring, including resolution of issues affecting the generation of system health reports and/or incorporation of improvement suggestions based on field use
- Support the Facility Health Review Committees in the orderly conduct of consistent and comprehensive reviews of system health reports and equipment performance trends
Accountabilities:
- To the capability area System Health Managers for reliability engineering support to minimize equipment downtime and enable production mission accomplishment
- To the Plan Health Support Manager for the effective implementation of the aging management program elements for system health monitoring
Authorities
- Authorized to communicate production priorities for long-term sustainment needs involved in equipment budgeting and maintenance
- Authorized to represent production in meetings established to identify and prioritize activities that resolve equipment availability issues and promote equipment reliability

Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Typical experience ranging from 4 to 7 years.
- OR a Master's Degree with a minimum of 1 years of relevant experience. Typical experience ranging from 4 to 7 years.
- OR a high school diploma with 10 years of relevant experience may be considered to satisfy educational and years-of-experience requirements for this posting
- In addition, the applicant must meet the requirements of DOE O 426.2 (i.e., Baccalaureate in engineering or related science, 2 years job-related and at least 1 year nuclear experience, or a DOE O 426.2 alternative). DOE 426.2 experience requirements can be satisfied following employment. In the interim, newly hired personnel will not be assigned duties that could impact the safety basis of nuclear facilities.
