Job Summary

The Yacht Tub Club Dock Lead primary role is to maintain the dock operations side of the business while role modeling the Dock Crew position. The Lead is a primary point of contact for both crew and guests, and must maintain a high level of professionalism, while building strong relationships with crew to assist primarily with needs that arise. The Lead should also be proactive to the needs of the business and keep things shipshape and bristol fashion. The Lead is expected to have intimate knowledge of the dock operations of the business. The Lead should uphold and adhere to the company’s vision and values, creating a fun, welcoming, and inclusive space for all.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage, organize, and refill dock supplies (propane, fuel, cleaning, boat parts, ect.).
• Perform boat, heater, and dock maintenance and maintain maintenance logs.
• Attend to customer needs, requests and problems that arise.
• Assist owner with dock crew hiring, selection, and firing.
• Manage and attend to dock crew needs, training, growth, and problems that arise.
• Schedule and hold ongoing dock crew performance reviews.
• Ensure a safe, secure, legal, and positive work environment.
• Develop, coordinate, and enforce systems, policies, procedures, and work standards.
• Role model business standards, ethics and attire.
• Maintain ongoing communication with team members.
• Be available to help outside normal schedule dock shifts for questions, support and occasional errands.
• Other duties as assigned.

The candidate shall be:

• Responsible, organized, great communication skills, hospitable, and general understanding of boats.
• Experienced in managing a team.
• Has experience in hospitality ability to create a wonderfully memorable experience.
• MUST have experience with operating boats and high level of comfort around water.
• This position is for the person that enjoys the outdoors, since a majority of the time will be spent down at the docks.
• Must have the ability to work extensively on their feet, and ability to lift & move up to 75lbs.

Details:
The position is part time for the right person with flexibility between 2 to 4 days per week. We are open Wednesday thru Monday with most rentals on weekday afternoons/evenings and full days Fridays/Saturdays/Sundays. We work with our crew to find a schedule that works for all crew. Compensation starts at $19/hr great tips (avg $9/hr) and cash bonuses! Perk is free Yacht Tub rides for you and your friends!

Pay: $19.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
