Yale Child Study Center Clinical Services has an opening for full-time child psychologist dedicated to providing evaluation and treatment services to children, adolescents and their families. A primary focus of this position is to provide psychological assessment, with a particular emphasis on children with autism and other neurodevelopmental disabilities. In addition, provision of evidence-based treatment services is an important component of the position.

Job Responsibilities:

· Conducting psychological assessments of children and adolescents, with the potential of working as part of multidisciplinary teams

· Providing evidence-based treatment to children and their caregivers

· Collaborating with members of clinical teams to inform comprehensive care plans

· Participation in the psychology training faculty, including training and supervision of practicum students, psychology interns through the Yale Child Study Center’s APA-accredited internship, and/or post-doctoral fellows on the pediatric psychology track

Successful candidates will be appointed as Assistant Professor of Child Clinical Psychology on the Academic Clinician ladder track. Opportunities for cultivation of specialized interests are available and welcomed. While not required on the Academic Clinician track, research and quality improvement projects are available and encouraged as part of a collaborative team.

Job Setting

The Yale Child Study Center’s Clinical Services are comprised of a multidisciplinary faculty and a number of training programs, including psychology practicum, internship, and post-doctoral fellowship. Our services include child and adult treatment, home-based services, and assessment services. Psychoeducational testing, developmental evaluations, and team evaluations are an important part of our array of services. The Child Study Center is committed to recruiting and supporting clinicians, researchers, and leaders representing diverse backgrounds today, as well as those in succeeding generations in the service of its clinical, research, training, policy, and prevention agendas.

Qualifications

Successful candidates must possess an APA accredited doctoral degree in psychology, postdoctoral experience in clinical or health service psychology, and be licensed or license-eligible in Connecticut. We welcome applicants with interests in program development, quality improvement, and training.
