Key Responsibilities:
1. Apply gel-coat on boat decks, hulls, and other FRP parts, following strict safety guidelines and organizational policies.
2. Maintain equipment and minimize downtime by cleaning tools and disposing of chemicals responsibly.
3. Adhere to established processes and procedures, requiring written approval from management before any deviations.
4. Perform additional job-related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. One or more years of assembly experience in a heavy manufacturing environment is essential. Proficiency in reading, comprehension, speaking, and writing English at a 9th-grade level is required. Ability to complete written forms, read routine procedures, and correspondence is also necessary.
Work Environment and Conditions:
The ideal candidate will be able to work in all areas of the organization, withstand loud noises and general production conditions, and maintain physical stamina. Moderate to heavy lifting (50-75 lbs.) with or without accommodation may be required. The position involves walking, standing, sitting, climbing, kneeling, reaching, crouching, etc., while maintaining near and far vision, hearing, and talking abilities.
