SUMMARY
Perform a variety of electrical and mechanical tasks under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager. Constructs, maintains, and repairs electrical power, lighting, and communication systems of buildings, factories, transportation equipment and production equipment by performing the following duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and systems such as (but not limited to) the following:
· Industrial Electronic Control Systems
· Machine and Motor Control Systems
· Conveyor, Rollers and Bearing assemblies
· Air compressors, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment
· Robotics
· Power Transmission Equipment
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS

· Knowledge of practical electrical application of AC and DC currents
· Ability to read and understand electrical wiring and mechanical design diagrams
· Ability to read and understand blueprints and manuals
· Ability to use electronic test equipment such as a digital multi-meter
· Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools
· Ability to identify, maintain, and troubleshoot control network components
· Ability to identify, maintain, and troubleshoot Motor Controls including motor starters, Variable Frequency Drives, DC drives, and standard electrical components
· Industrial electrical hands-on experience and troubleshooting, including 480V 3-phase, 110 VAC, and 24VDC systems
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Applicant will need an AAS from college or technical school; or two to four years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE/COMMUNICATION SKILLS
· Ability to communicate with employees and supervisors in person and in English
· Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
MATHEMATIC SKILLS
· Ability to do basic math: addition, subtraction, fractions, percentages, etc.
· Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
· Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
· Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
· Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and formulate repair action plans for various types of equipment
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Current driver license.
