Summary/Objective: The Sales Coordinator works within a Cell team which includes a Key Account Manager and a Graphic Designer supporting and managing a book of accounts. The primary responsibility is facilitating communication between internal teams and customers, providing administrative support to the Sales Team, managing customer projects, nurturing customer relationships and entering, monitoring orders, and maintaining customer information in various digital systems.
Essential Functions/Duties:
Project Coordination
· Creates Projects
· Facilitates internal and external communication until completion of the project
· Gathers Technical Specification Information for item creation and quoting
Customer & System Management
· Identifies Obsolete Items for System and Plate File Clean Up
· Maintains/Creates: Customer Shelf Stock Agreements, Customer Profile in Project Portal, Customer’s Receiving Information, Quotes
· Enter Customer Orders into GP System
Sales Support Responsibilities
· Generate customer reports to facilitate strategic planning and performance evaluation
· Provide timely updates on open/closed Projects that for transparency and accountability
· Manages respectful and professional day-to-day communication with customers to address inquiries, resolve issues and maintain positive relationships
Active participation with Cross Functional Team Groups, Kaizen events and adherence to safety protocols for both employees and customers. Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications/Skills Required:
· A high school diploma, post-secondary education preferred
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
· Exceptional computer skills; Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Great Plains experience a plus
· Project management experience
Work Environment and Physical Requirements: Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and listen attentively. Extensive sitting and repetitive use of hands and fingers. Vision abilities that include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception are required. Routine use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and fax machines. Lift up to 20 lbs. occasionally.
