What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager – Health Equity, Diversity and Inclusion position at YMCA OF FLORIDA'S FIRST COAST?
Position Summary: The Project Manager manages the Florida Blue Foundation HEDI Grant project that supports the YMCA DEI efforts including the following: budget and deliverables oversight; managing workflow of those working on the project; researching best practices and developing educational resources such as webinars, workshops, case studies, toolkits and issue briefs; and reporting progress internally and externally.
This is a Grant Funded position. The salary is FIRM at $50,000.
Essential Functions:
- Maintain productive ongoing relationships with the Florida Blue Foundation and its partners.
- Project management of all HEDI deliverables including coordinating resources and delivery timelines, monitoring and reporting data to the grant partners and YMCA leaders.
- Able to quickly gain an in-depth understanding of the Y organization, departments and its functions.
- Support internal cultural recognition events
- Manage internal DEI volunteer community
- Develop and publish communications to stakeholders
- Provide support for all projects and initiatives being led by the DEI TaskForce
- Help coordinate activities, presentations, and learning opportunities that promote DEI
- Schedule/ plan meetings hosted by the DEI TaskForce
- Manage general communication that includes– PowerPoint, internal messaging, internal Intranet site and any other content needs that arise.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, I/O Psychology, or another related field preferred.
- Certification in DEI, Change Management, or Project Management preferred.
- 2 years’ experience with Project Management or managing a grant funded project preferred
- Good understanding of program deliverables implementation, measurement and evaluation.
- Skilled at writing, planning and strategizing.
- Excellent computer skills including PowerPoint and Excel.
- Knowledgeable of Florida Resolutions regarding DEI programming
- Practices caring, respect, faith, honesty, and
- Time management skills necessary to meet
Physical Demands:
Ability to plan, lead and participate in activities. Ability to work in an outdoor setting when required.
