Donor Relations and Leadership Gifts Manager
Salary: 60,344.8-67,887.90
Summary: Identify, cultivate and steward donors at the 10,000-100,000 giving levels, ensuring strong donor relationships, engagement and retention. Promote achievement, belonging and relationships through personalized engagement strategies, partnership development, and growth of the donor pipeline (direct and indirect through key branch leaders).

Essential Functions:
1. Identify, cultivate and solicit mid-level donors, including those with the potential to increase giving over time.
2. Manage a portfolio of 50-100 leadership gift donors, delivering personalized touchpoints, implementing donor stewardship plans, and partnering with board members, volunteers, and leadership to meaningfully engage donors across our organizational footprint.
3. Develop tailored fundraising strategies to inspire increased giving through annual, capital endowment, sponsorships, and planned giving.
4. Support fundraising campaigns and organization revenue goals by securing lead gifts.
5. Collaborate with key leaders (Association and Branch) to identify donors ready for major gift cultivation and facilitate successful gift opportunities, while strengthening fundraising skills and support for the board, staff, and volunteers.
6. Tack, analyze and share giving trends to maximize donor engagement and organizational capacity for fundraising (board, staff, and volunteer).
7. Provide frequent updates and accurate reports on leadership donor activity, retention, and pipeline development.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, liberal arts, or related field experience in similar role.
2. 3-5 years of experience in prospect research, fundraising, donor relations, or philanthropy.
2. Persuasive verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate the mission of the YMCA, connect with staff, donors, and volunteers.
4. Ability to engage others in support of the mission; establish strong collaborative relationships and work with others, including all levels of executives and volunteers, in a cooperative and effective manner.
5. Data management, analysis, visualization, and reporting experience via CRM (Salesforce, Raisers, Edge, Daxko), Excel, PowerBI, Visio, Power Point, Canva or similar tools.
6. Understanding of project management and ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment with the ability to work independently and/ or with a team; Lean Six Sigma or Agile experience preferred.
7. Proven ability to protect the confidentiality of donor and staff data.
8. Passion and understanding of the YMCA mission.
