Camp staff work as a team with the other staff in leading the camp programs for campers to help them have a successful camp experience. Camp staff are responsible for supervising campers through all camp activities, building positive relationships with campers and families, assisting in teaching or leading activities as assigned, ensuring the safety of campers, and enforcing and following all camp rules and policies.
Starting salary is $13/hour.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess high school diploma or equivalent.
- YMCA Child Abuse Prevention training certification must be obtained prior to the beginning of the camp program.
