We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Barre Group Fitness Instructor to lead high-energy, low-impact barre classes. The ideal candidate will inspire and challenge participants while ensuring a safe and effective workout experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead barre fitness classes, focusing on strength, flexibility, and balance.
- Provide clear instructions and modifications for all fitness levels.
- Foster a supportive and welcoming environment.
- Maintain class schedules and ensure equipment is properly set up.
Qualifications
- Must be at least age 18 years
- Current Barre Certification (e.g., Balletone, Barre Above, or equivalent).
- Previous teaching experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate and lead group exercise classes to a diverse group of participants
- First Aid, CPR/AED certification within 90 days of hire date

- YMCA Child Abuse Prevention Online Training
- Blood borne Pathogen Online Training
- Notify Healthy Living Director within 60 days before First Aid, CPR/AED expiration date. The YMCA provides First Aid, CPR/AED recertification classes.
