Maintenance Worker - PT

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical and electrical background, with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain various systems within our facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to facility maintenance, ensuring all equipment is functioning efficiently and safely. The Maintenance Person will play a crucial role in maintaining operational excellence and supporting the overall productivity of our organization.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks including repairs on mechanical and electrical systems.
• Produce a safe and enjoyable facility for all that enter the building.
• Support and enforce all policies, such as One Call, OSHA/WISHA rules, health and safety regulations and guidelines, etc.
• Safely operate all vehicles and other job related equipment
• Snow removal and landscaping
• Moving and setup of rooms and areas for activities
• Custodial jobs as necessary.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff to minimize downtime.

Skills

• Solid understanding of facilities maintenance best practices.
• Experienced in plumbing, electrical, carpentry work and general maintenance
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to challenges.
• Provides a quality experience for everyone, including but not limited to Health Seekers, Members, Participants, Internal Customers, Fellow Staff Members, Vendors, and others.

Physical Requirements

• Physical Activity: The ability to be physically active for long periods of time without getting tired or out of breath.
• Lifting: The ability to lift or push/pull 50 pounds occasionally.
• Standing: The ability to stand for extensive periods of time.
• Movement: The ability to bend, stretch, twist, reach out, squat, and kneel frequently.
• Coordination: The ability to coordinate the movement of several parts of the body such as arms and legs, while moving frequently.
• Balance: The ability to keep or regain balance or stay upright when in an unstable position.
• Hearing: The ability to hear sounds and recognize the difference between them.

• Gross Manipulation: The ability to seize, hold, grasp, turn or otherwise work with the hands.
• Alternate sit/stand: The ability to choose between sitting or standing as needed.
• Outdoor: The ability to work outdoors for an entire day.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
