This person will oversee the Member Services Department at the Park South YMCA and will be responsible for the day to day operations of the Member Services department and reports to the District Executive Director.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Membership Growth and Development:
- Responsible for all aspects of membership growth and development.
- Manage membership billings, drafts, and payments.
- Accountable for sales growth and membership retention. Must meet and/or exceed the membership monthly sales goals for the branch.
Staff Development:
- Direct supervision of approximately 10-15 part-time staff which includes recruiting, hiring, training, onboarding, coaching, and termination of part-time staff.
- Monitor and ensure accuracy of front desk data entry and tracking guests.
- Cultivate a cohesive staff team focused on exceptional service.
Reporting and Statistics:
- Responsible for generation and analyzing membership reports and statistics.
- Highlight critical membership opportunities for new and current members.
Leadership and Teamwork:
- Ensuring program information is accurate, up-to-date, and communicated in a consistent manner to staff, members, and the the community.
- Integral part of a staff team environment.
- Seen as a leader in the branch, providing necessary support and guidance to programmatic staff.
Financial Accountability:
- Accountable for achieving monthly budgeted expectations for revenue and expenses.
- Responsible for membership staff payroll, as well as creating and adhering to membership budget expenses.
- Provide leadership for the Annual Campaign and Community Events.
