Enjoy ideal summer hours—Tuesday through Saturday, 10 AM to 6 PM—while leading an experienced and professional aquatics team at one of the area's busiest public park pools. What You’ll Do : As the Head Lifeguard, you will be responsible for the daily operations, safety, and security of Forest River Park Pool, ensuring a positive experience for patrons and maintaining strong community relations.
In this leadership role, you will manage, support, and lead the lifeguard team, oversee pool operations, and ensure all safety protocols are upheld. On a typical day, you will :
- Supervise and enforce safety regulations and pool rules for all patrons.
- Monitor the pool area for safety hazards and respond to emergencies as needed.
- Remain rescue-ready at all times and implement emergency procedures when necessary.
- Assess swimmers' abilities to ensure they are using appropriate areas of the pool.
- Train and mentor new staff through shadowing and ongoing professional development.
