Responsibilities:
- Manage the canoe shop and ensure that all necessary tools and equipment are readily available and in good working condition.
- Collaborate with Program Directors to design and deliver engaging canoe programs for summer trail staff and campers, incorporating safety protocols and best practices.
- Develop and lead paddle building workshops as part of our Environmental Education initiatives and other programming efforts, promoting STEM education and community engagement.
- Support the Property Manager in maintaining facilities, including carpentry work, interior and exterior finishes, systems monitoring, janitorial responsibilities, and supervising work crews.
- Ensure that the canoe repair building remains safe and functional for our staff and visitors, adhering to all relevant safety regulations and standards.
