Job Description
The Director of Marketing, Social Media & Communications is responsible for leading and implementing strategic marketing initiatives that enhance the visibility and engagement of the Central Connecticut Coast YMCA (CCCY). This role develops and oversees an integrated marketing plan, social media strategy, and brand management while ensuring consistency across all communication platforms. The Director also manages content creation, graphic design, website updates, and internal / external messaging to support the YMCA’s mission.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, social media management, content creation, and website management.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite) and social media scheduling platforms.
- Strong experience in website content management (WordPress preferred).
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and adjust marketing strategies accordingly.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- YMCA Organizational Leader Certification (or ability to obtain within two years of hire).
