Regional Sales Specialist

📍 Location: Full-Time, In-Person (Florida-Based)

📂 Reports To: East Coast Sales Manager

We’re on a mission to dominate Florida’s specialty and independent retail scene—and we need a rockstar Regional Sales Specialist to help us do it. If you’re hungry for success, thrive in fast-paced environments, and love building relationships, this role is for you!

• Hustle. Sell. Expand. Own and grow our footprint in Florida’s best independent grocers and specialty retailers—think Abby’s Market, Ada’s/Paradise Health, Detwiler’s Farm Market, Nutrition S’mart, Morton’s, and more.
• Take our 7 active local accounts and supercharge it to 34 new accounts, 80 stores. 
• Be the face of Yo Mama’s Foods in the field—nurture relationships with store owners, managers, and buyers to secure premium shelf space and drive in-store sales.
• Hit the streets—regular store visits, merchandising, product tastings, and on-the-ground support to keep our products flying off the shelves.

• Get our name out there! Plan and execute local sponsorships, community activations, and grassroots marketing events, including:
• 🎉 Local races & community events (Gasparilla Festival, Turkey Trot, etc.).
• 🏈 School partnerships (sports games, festivals, fundraisers).
• 🍽️ In-store demos & tastings—because once they try it, they’re hooked!
• Be the eyes and ears on the ground—spot market trends, identify new opportunities, and help craft regional marketing strategies to grow brand awareness.

• Within 6 months: Expand our presence beyond traditional grocery by breaking into commercial accounts like:
• Hispanic & Asian markets
• Convenience stores & specialty shops
• Local food service (schools, restaurants, hospitals, country clubs, hotels, jails, catering—you name it, we want in!)
• Within 1 year: Take the next step in your career—transition into a Southeast Regional Sales Manager role, expanding our reach into:
• 🌎 Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia.

✅ Ready to Travel – You’ll be on the road, meeting with accounts, attending events, and driving sales.

• 2 years of sales experience (preferably in food, CPG, or retail).
• A deep understanding of Florida’s grocery and specialty food market.
• A proven track record of hitting sales goals and growing accounts.
• Experience with field marketing, demos, and in-store promotions is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (because you’ll be out there making moves!).

• 💵 Hourly Pay: $20-$22/hour (not including travel reimbursements)
