Responsibilities
- Overseeing the management and organization of medical records within a 240 bed long-term care facility
- Oversee the collection, organization, and storage of patient medical records, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality.
- Ensure that patient records are readily available for healthcare providers when needed for treatment, billing, and other purposes
- Develop and implement systems for organizing both paper and electronic medical records, including databases or electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Perform regular audits to verify that records are complete, accurate, and up-to-date.
- Coordinate with other departments to maintain overall accreditation of the facility.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's (required) or Master's (preferred)
- Prior experience in long-term care required
- Possess effective team problem-solving and interpersonal communication skills
We are looking to fill this position with a candidate that can start sooner than 1/10/25. Interviews will be held Monday to Friday from 11am to 4pm.
