Job Title: COLLECTOR

Job Summary: Collect payments on delinquent accounts. Arrange payment plans with customers. Adhere to Employee Handbook.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS of the Job:
- Service loans through the related finance company and work with customers to ensure customer payments are timely.
- Receive customer payments and post payments to customer account.
- Make 2-3 run throughs of collection calls each work-day, and develop repossession lists during call-throughs.
- Meet collection targets as established by the Company.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Print repossession forms, pull customer deal jackets, attach keys to forms.
- Direct any gray area situations to collections manager.
- Maintain copious notes on customer accounts.
- Record customer “promises to pay” on account, and follow up with customer.
Skills Required to Perform the Duties of the Job:
- Excellent verbal communication ability.
