Status: Part Time Hourly FLSA classification: Non-Exempt
Summary of the Position: Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) is a non-traditional way of providing intense individualized mental health interventions and support services in a variety of community-based settings to children/adolescents with psychiatric diagnoses and their families. This is an hourly, part time position.
- Provide individualized mental health interventions and support services in various community settings (e.g., in the home, at school, camps, daycares, etc.)
- Implement specific treatment goals as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team.
- Monitor and document behaviors and progress
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and adjust treatment plans.
- Flexible schedule, based around the availability of youth and families served.
Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Services.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in behavioral health services or Behavioral Health Certification, Behavior Analysis Certification, or Certification as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT).
- Basic computer knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule
Reimbursement based on education and experience.
Bi-Lingual /Spanish Speaking is a plus but not required.
Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current automobile insurance coverage is required. Mileage reimbursement available.
