Status: Full Time Hourly FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt
Summary of Position: The Database and Reporting Analyst will provide support to and assist in analyzing large sets of data and automation and generating reports to support the organization in efficient reporting and making data driven decisions. This position will create reports and workflows using tools like SQL, SSRS, PowerBI, etc. based on the report requirements and needs. Assist in process automation utlizing Microsoft PowerApps, SharePoint, Power Automate. Ensure the integrity of the Central Database Repository (CDR) processes.
Position will require strong analytical skills, attention to detail and be a highly detail-oriented individual and have excellent communication skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create new reports, visualizations, dashboards, and workflows based on the business logic as provided by the Evolv Administrator.
- Create and develop ad hoc reports and datasets based on data requests.
- Maintain/update current reports and workflows based on evolving needs.
- Create and automate regular reporting processes to streamline data accessibility based on business logic as provided by the Evolv Administrator.
- Troubleshoot, provide insight, and recommendations for reports or processes to reduce errors.
- Document report and process requirements
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy by performing regular checks and audits on the databases.
Qualifications/Requirements: Minimum Associates degree. Bachelor's degree in data science, mathematics, statistics, computer science, or related is preferred.
- Proven experience in data analysis and reporting, with focus of database management.
- Report writing experience in SSRS PowerBI and similar
- Experience in data visualization tools such as PowerBI or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with relational database management systems.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft O365 Suite.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey data findings effectively
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment.
