YSI is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Administrator to support the AFOSI program at Quantico, VA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing database systems, ensuring performance and security, and optimizing database operations.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage and maintain database systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
· Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations.
· Support database maintenance, backups, and disaster recovery processes.
· Assist with database setup, configuration, and upgrades.
· Ensure compliance with security standards and government regulations.
· Work with development teams to enhance database functionality and efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree (BS) in IT or related field OR equivalent certifications (CEH, Security ).
· 8 years of experience (Senior level) or 5 years of experience (Intermediate level) in database administration and optimization.
· Active Top Secret Clearance required.
· Expertise in SQL, Oracle, and AWS database technologies.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $130,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
