Position Summary
The Vice President of Real Estate and Facilities is a key player in galvanizing the YWCA Network around the new Real Estate and Facilities Project. This position is a thought partner and connector who will work with our national real estate partner and our 196 local YWCAs to find solutions to their facility and real estate needs. The VP of Real Estate & Facilities will have a deep working knowledge and the capacity to stay abreast of the changing landscape of funding sources and can research and share nonprofit affordable housing, shelter, and physical plant models.
This new position reports to the Chief Operating Officer and is part of YWCA USA’s Senior Leadership Team.
Real Estate Collaboration and Consultation
- Serve as the YWCA’s in-house expert on facilities and real estate.
- Work with the Member Services Team to identify and provide initial assessments and consultation.
- Collaborate with and connect local YWCA’s with real estate and facilities resources, including funding resources.
- Work with the National Real Estate Partner to identify and assist Local Associations with solutions for their real estate and facility needs.

Responsibilities will also include assisting in project planning, grant applications, public relations, data management and research, record keeping, and the preparation of required reports, as well as other related duties as required.
