About this Position The HR Business Partner acts as a strategic business partner for designated departments within the Primerica Home Office. This role is central in imparting HR expertise to management personnel and influencing senior leadership based on company policy, positive employee relations and applicable laws. This is a hybrid position that works a 3 day onsite and 2 day at home schedule at our Duluth office. Responsibilities & Qualifications RESPONSIBLITIES: Ensures the effective and consistent delivery of Human Resources leadership and services including: employee relations and performance management, policy development and interpretation, talent acquisition and development, compensation, benefits, organizational effectiveness and diversity, equality and inclusion Creates integrated solutions to business problems by developing relationships with individuals, employee groups and business leaders to communicate company policies/programs/procedures and provide leadership around organizational change and development Promotes an environment of collaboration and respect through training, coaching, policy and procedure development deployment and mediation Conducts investigations and ensures resolution of internal complaints, including but not limited to discrimination, sexual harassment, employee misconduct, matters related to disputes/appeals and other disciplinary matters Understands federal and state laws, policies, procedures and regulations Ensures communication of all HR policies and procedures to employees Reviews exit, retention and turnover data, and compiles reports and analysis KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: 8 -10 years previous experience in Human Resources with extensive experience in employee relations and a general knowledge of specific HR competencies in at least three of the following HR disciplines: compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, training and development and organizational development Bachelor's degree in human resources management, business management or in a related field of study is strongly preferred PHR/SPHR or CP/SCP certifications are preferred Ability to create individual and team development plans in partnership with business leaders to align with the business strategy Identifies underlying root cause issues and implements solutions to mitigate Identifies gaps and training needs and then coaches and develops management team to foster a consistently fair, collaborative, and equitable place to work Should possess excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, strong analytical skills and effective platform/presentation skills Should be a successful problem solver, have the ability to work well independently with minimal supervision, think strategically, manage multiple priorities, be able to lead and influence decision making and be able to build and maintain effective relationships Strong decision-making ability, problem solving and able to work under pressure with complex issues within established time constraints.
