Job Description:
Zahra Construction is looking for a proactive and organized Mailroom Clerk/Receptionist to join our team. In this dual role, you will be responsible for managing mailroom operations as well as providing front-desk reception duties. The ideal candidate will be someone with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a positive attitude who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Sort, receive, and distribute incoming mail and packages to appropriate departments.
- Prepare and send outgoing mail, ensuring proper packaging, labeling, and postage.
- Maintain and organize mailroom supplies and equipment.
- Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and clients, greeting them warmly and directing them to the appropriate personnel.
- Answer phone calls, direct inquiries, and take messages as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
- Perform basic administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing office supplies.
- Assist other departments with mail or administrative tasks when needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a mailroom, receptionist, or administrative support role preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Friendly, professional demeanor and the ability to interact effectively with visitors and staff.
- Ability to handle phone calls and manage inquiries in a calm, efficient manner.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general office equipment (phones, copiers, fax machines).
- Ability to lift and carry items of moderate weight.

Pay: $20.00 - $21.20 per hour
