Position Overview:
The Qualified Supervising Professional will be responsible for providing oversight and guidance in the delivery of ABA services, including conducting Clinical Measure Development and Evaluation (CMDE), developing Individualized Treatment Plans (ITP), and ensuring that all clinical procedures meet the highest standards of care. This role requires a thorough understanding of ABA principles and practices, as well as experience in clinical supervision and management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and provide guidance to a team of Behavior Analysts and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
- Conduct Clinical Measure Development and Evaluation (CMDE) to assess and track client progress.
- Develop, review, and modify Individualized Treatment Plans (ITP) for clients, ensuring they meet therapeutic goals and objectives.
- Provide clinical oversight for client assessments, progress reports, and treatment modifications.
- Ensure adherence to ethical guidelines, professional standards, and relevant regulations.
- Work collaboratively with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for clients.
- Provide mentorship, training, and professional development for clinical staff.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Participate in ongoing program development, quality improvement, and case reviews.
Qualifications:
- Required:
- Master's degree (MA, MS), Doctorate (Ph.D.), or equivalent degree in a relevant field.
- Current valid Minnesota license for one of the following:
- Physician
- Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
- Behavioral Pediatrician
- Mental Health Professional (LPCC, LMFT, LICSW, or LP).
- At least 2,000 hours of clinical experience and/or training in the examination and/or treatment of individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or a related condition, OR the equivalent in graduate-level coursework from an accredited university.
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or another applicable Minnesota mental health license.
- Valid Minnesota driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with children clinically.
- Knowledge and experience regarding cultural diversity is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with strong keyboard skills.
- Familiarity with collaborative documentation systems.
Additional Information:
- Note: LAMFT, LPC, and LGSW candidates do not qualify for this role.
- Ability to pass and maintain good standing in the Department of Human Services (DHS) background check.
