Job Description
As the Director of E-commerce and Digital Marketing, you will be the expert in selling the company’s products online. You will be responsible for managing multiple agencies to achieve key performance metrics for the online business. This includes working with the agencies to set up the company’s online marketplaces, optimizing the business including assortment recommendations and pricing based on competitive and performance analytics, and managing all day-to-day operations for the company’s E-Commerce business.
As part of this digital marketing role, you will also be responsible for managing the strategic direction and execution of the company’s various websites and digital footprints like social and B2B digital marketing tools. You will also have responsibility for managing one direct report who, with your guidance, will oversee the Product Information (PIM) and Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms for the company.
Key Responsibilities : E-Commerce :
You will own the P&L, sales strategy, and management of our e-commerce channel, primarily focused on Amazon.
- Build annual business plan to include objectives, strategies, and KPIs, working with agency to develop product assortment, pricing, promotions and events, profitability, merchandising, 3P seller reduction, and general day-to-day management of the business.
- Execute the transition from current agency and 2PL model to new agency and 3PL model.
- Partner to set up new ways of working with cross-functional teams : finance, inventory management, QA, Operations, Procurement, and agencies.
- Be the key contact for agencies.
- Manage P&L and marketing budget.
- Manage new item launches.
- Item setup data.
- Assets.
- Monitor inventory, prepare reports as necessary from Seller Central.
- Prepare (with agency support) weekly, monthly, quarterly updates on KPIs and strategies.
Digital Marketing :
You will own the strategic direction and execution of the company’s various websites, working with the VP of Marketing to migrate all assets to the broader company holding company umbrella.
