Job Description
As the Director of E-commerce and Digital Marketing, you will be the expert in selling the company’s products on-line. You will be responsible for managing multiple agencies to achieve key performance metrics for the on-line business. This will include working with the agencies to set up the company’s on-line marketplaces, optimizing the business including assortment recommendations and pricing based on competitive and performance analytics, and manage all day-to-day operations for the company’s E-Commerce business.
As part of this digital marketing role, you will also be responsible for managing the strategic direction and execution of the company’s various websites and digital footprints like social and B2B digital marketing tools. You will also have responsibility for managing one direct report who, with your guidance, will oversee the Product Information (PIM) and Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms for the company.
Key responsibilities:
E-Commerce: You will own the P&L, sales strategy and management of our e-commerce channel, primarily focused on Amazon.

Build annual business plan to include objectives, strategies, and KPIs, working with agency to develop product assortment, pricing, promotions and events, profitability, merchandising, 3P seller reduction, and general day-to-day management of the business

Execute the transition from current agency and 2PL model to new agency and 3PL model

Partner to set up new ways of working with cross functional teams – finance, inventory management, QA, Operations, Procurement, and agencies

Be the key contact for agencies

Manage P&L and marketing budget

Monitor inventory, prepare reports as necessary from Seller Central

Prepare (with agency support) weekly, monthly, quarterly updates on KPIs and strategies
Digital Marketing

You will own the strategic direction and execution of the company’s various websites, working with the VP of Marketing to migrate all assets to the broader company holding company umbrella.

You will own the strategy and deployment of B2B marketing using current tools like Pepperi , Mail Chimp, and new digital platforms that you will identify.

You will establish KPIs for digital B2B marketing and track performance, providing updates to the VP of Marketing monthly.
PIM/DAM

You will manage one direct report who has responsibility for setting up and managing our PIM/DAM platform

You will ensure that all product information and assets are well organized, maintained, and easily accessible for agencies and cross functional teams
Work Experience/Requirements for This Role

4 year Bachelor degree in business or related field

Experience in CPG and with Amazon’s on-line marketplace (2-3 years min)

Understands what is required to set up items in on-line marketplaces, very familiar with all data needs and the entire process of starting up and implementing an E-Commerce business

Knows how to rename, organize assets and deliver to agency

Understand key metrics to analyze and monitor E-commerce/Amazon performance to challenge our agency and grow the business

Strong analytical skills, great excel skills and communication/presence

Flexible and resourceful; can pivot as necessary based on changing business priorities or needs

Ability to limit roadblocks or hurdles by being resourceful and problem solving, building cases to support your business

Experience leading and managing agencies and a team

Willing to roll up your sleeves and do the work given small team
