JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Key Account Manager is responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships among key strategic customers and business partners while also developing strategies to increase revenue for ZB Importing.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Identify new and potential partnerships and strategically assess new opportunities

Maintain strong relationships with all customers in assigned region through face-to-face meetings and phone conversations. Establish trust with various buyers

Grow portfolio of existing items and focus on upcoming new items
-
Manage, lead and motivate broker resources to achieve collaborative objectives/goals
-
Assist with trade budget and deductions
-
Act proactively to resolve potential issues
-
Collaborate with Marketing Team on promotional materials, campaigns, or special events
-
Use technology, data, and rigorous business analysis to enhance efforts to grow a robust, and value-added network
-
Review the sales numbers for your business regularly (prices, inventory, backlog, etc.) and use them to evaluate the effectiveness of your sales and incentive programs

Provide accurate forecasting on a timely basis

Control expenses appropriate to hob performance

Constant communication with the mainstream sale

Manage team
-
Other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree or higher educations
-
5 years of experience in CPG industry, Distributor Business is a plus
-
Valid Driver’s License
-
Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT) and CRM
-
Fluent in English

Strong Analytical skills to identify trends and sales patterns

Ability to design and implement a successful sales strategy

Ability to guide and mentor sales representatives

Planning, organization, and problem-solving skills

Schedule

Hours: Full-Time

Days: Monday-Friday (May occasionally require weekends)

Work Location: Hybrid (Work 2-3 days onsite from main office in Cicero, IL)
