Job Summary
The Field Inventory Control Coordinator provides general support all inbound logistics returns from the field. Areas of support include but may not be limited to new and returned receipts, loaner kit variances, and decontamination. Inventory Control Coordinators are required to exhibit intermediate experience and proven abilities in all listed duties, specifications, skills, and attribute. Satisfies our customer’s needs through prompt response, friendly service, and support that often exceeds expectations. Acts as the liaison between field sales agents & distributors and internal personnel & departments by managing various incoming request, inventory replenishments, product inquiries, and investigating order shipments, tracking, or issues ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of materials needed for surgery. Develops and enhances product knowledge through training, webinars, learning modules, interaction and partnership with sales, marketing, sales training, med ed. Performs varied and diverse office clerical duties. Requires knowledge of office systems and office procedures. Duties may include a combination of answering telephones, typing, office machine operation, document scanning and filing.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Process loaner/inventory variances and discrepancies as it relates to loaner returns and field based analysis and adjustments.
- Provide support and pathway with field based agents to manage and return soon to expire inventory.
- Perform level 3 kit conversions to improve accuracy of inventory management in the field
- Provide assistance and co-project management with the demand control team to retrieve and manage TLD’s in the field.
- Responsible implementing and maintaining field based cycle counts.
- Responds to direct buy product availability.
- As needed work with demand control for par levels, Account management for order completion, Distribution Center for tracking shipments, order history, or any other customer concern
- Manage and communicate instrument recovery program as defined.
- Effectively communicates live inventory logistic status to field partners
- As needed, will work with distribution department to assist with moving product through the warehouse to ensure timely shipments.
- Monitors and supports orders placed in the field, communicates with distributor office managers or reps as needed to ensure order accuracy and availability.
- Works with the inventory placement team to analyze kit health and field based placement
- Manages internal controls such as product access, restrictions, back orders, par levels, etc.
- Use Enterprise Resource Planning/Manufacturing Resource Planning software programs to loan, receive, ship, issue and monitor inventory. May also require coordination with shipping companies.
- Schedules pick-ups and contacts 3rd party carriers to deliver product on time, as needed.
- Collaborate with departments across functions: supply chain, warehouse, and operations to fulfill orders

Education/Experience Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent work experience in distribution/warehouse or manufacturing setting Communicate clearly in verbal and written form in English
- Computer skills and experience with a WMS are required
- Experience working with SAP is preferred
- Ability to work with and coordinate with other departments/personnel in a collaborative and solutions-oriented manner
