We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Back of House Manager to lead our kitchen operations in a dynamic restaurant environment. Duties
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Train and develop kitchen staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
- Collaborate with the front of house team to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Implement standard operating procedures for food preparation and presentation.
- Assist in menu development and execution, focusing on quality and creativity.
- Handle cash management and financial reporting as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
- Lead by example, demonstrating effective teamwork and communication.
Experience
- Previous experience as an Assistant Manager or in a similar leadership role within a quick service fast food restaurant or fine dining establishment is preferred.
- Proven skills in team management, training development, and leadership.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS systems is a plus.
- Experience in banquet operations is advantageous.
- Strong background in cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
- Excellent cash handling skills with attention to detail.
