We are looking for a Sales Representative who is passionate about sustainability and eager to join us on this exciting journey. The ideal candidate will be a high-energy self-starter with a can-do attitude and a proven track record of sales success. You will drive sales of our zero-emission vehicles and services, build strong relationships with customers, develop leads, and serve as a trusted advisor and consultant to our clients. You will work closely with our team of experts to identify customer needs and provide customized solutions that meet their unique requirements.
Overview:
- Drive revenue of our zero-emission vehicles and services to meet or exceed sales targets
- Demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of driving growth in emerging markets and creating innovative solutions to meet customer needs in a dynamic and evolving industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and serve as a trusted advisor and consultant
- Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and provide customized solutions that meet their unique requirements
- Maintain the ability to articulate the value proposition of zero-emission vehicles and services to senior-level decision-makers, highlighting the alignment with their organization's ESG goals and the positive impact on their corporate reputation and bottom line.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective customers
- Have the ability to develop in-depth knowledge and understanding of government-sponsored rebate programs and incentives related to sustainable transportation, enabling effective utilization of these programs as a strategic selling tactic to customers, resulting in enhanced value propositions and increased customer acquisition and retention.
- Become a subject management expert in the zero-emission vehicle space
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth fulfillment
- Attend trade shows and industry events to build awareness of our brand and products
- Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports to management
- Thrive in a startup environment, adept at navigating ambiguity and building sales strategies from the ground up to establish ZTG as a leading provider of zero-emission commercial vehicles.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales to Senior & C-suite level decision-makers
- Experience selling commercial vehicles or associated products/services is a plus
- Proven ability to drive sales directly and develop and implement comprehensive programs and initiatives that support customers' sustainability goals and ensure long-term success.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Passion for sustainability and the environment
- Clean driving record
- Class B CDL is highly preferred, or the ability to obtain
Travel:
- Up to 50 % travel within the assigned territory
- The role is hybrid/outside sales oriented and headquartered in Altoona, IA
