Injection Mold Process Engineer

An exciting opportunity to join a Leading Manufacturer as a Tooling - Process Engineer in the Adrian, MI area. The Tooling Engineer will optimize injection molding processes, create and optimize Injection Molding Machine Part Un-loader Programs, Troubleshoot Injection Molding Machine issues and train jobsetters.

EDUCATION

• Associates Degree PREFERED
• 3-5 years’ Experience in Injection Molding Field REQUIRED
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Working knowledge of SPC
• Experienced with Valve Gated Injection Molding
• Broad knowledge of Plastics and Systematic Injection Molding Process
• Experience with Hot Runner tools
• Systematic troubleshooting skills
• Experience with Mold Temperature Control Units
• Experience with Hot runner controllers
• Strong degree of self-motivation and self-direction
• Provide design guidance for product and tooling development
  
  

Preferred

• Familiar with instrument panel, consoles, interior parts in general, design, process and manufacturing
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principle
• Comprehension of basic GDT
• Experience processing urethane foams, thermoforming, injection molding processing
