2nd Shift Sensory Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Sensory Technician to join our team as a leader in the food and beverage space. In this position, you will be responsible for performing sensory evaluations on products and incoming ingredients, ensuring quality and compliance. Your role will encompass panel management, data collection, and analysis, all while maintaining a safe and efficient laboratory environment.

Core Responsibilities

• Prepare taste solutions and test products for sensory analysis.
• Conduct sensory tests according to established specifications.
• Accurately input test results into the database to determine approval or rejection.
• Adhere to proper protocols to ensure high-quality testing.
• Assist and monitor data entry.
• Identify and document necessary changes, communicating findings to relevant quality personnel, operations, purchasing, and planning teams.
• Strong analysis skills required.
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; a degree in Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field is a plus.
• 2-3 years of experience in a laboratory setting preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in PC applications (Google Drive, Microsoft Office).
• Ability to learn and utilize internal data systems.
• Strong mathematical skills with a creative and adaptable approach.
• Customer-focused with a strong desire to achieve results and work collaboratively with team.

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio

Hours: 11 AM - 7:30 PM Monday through Friday with occasional overtime

Pay: $23-$24/hr.
