What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Assistant/Office Manager position at Zion Hill Baptist Church?
The Executive Assistant will support the ministry goals of Zion Hill Baptist Church through efficient operations of the church's office, and through outstanding administrative support of the Pastor and Administration Minister. S/he will manage the office staff and contractors responsible for comprehensive office support, database maintenance, as well as telecommunications support.
Specific job functions include:

Maintenance of an atmosphere of Christianity, professionalism, helpfulness, and hospitality to all who interact with the church office, including staff, church members, and visitors

Ability to work at a fast pace, within a variety of settings and circumstances, with composure and available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, while consistently meeting timelines

Ability to professionally interact with diverse personalities and opinions, including coordination of volunteers for special Church related activities
Good steward of the church’s resources

Standard Qualifications
Strong commitment to Ministry and service
College graduate, or equivalent work-related experience.
Minimum of five years of experience as an Administrative Assistant, Office Manager, or equivalent position
Minimum typing level of 65 WPM with accuracy, including transcribing experience with technology
Comprehensive computer skills (MSO365, Forms tools). Proficiency in basic desktop publishing, bulletin, flyer, and brochure design
Proficiency in the use of standard office tools and equipment
Specific Physical Requirements
Requires sitting and standing at a desk in an office or control room for long periods of time.
Requires lifting waist high, shoulder high, and above the head; pushing, pulling, holding up to 15 pounds and carrying alone or with assistance.
Requires operating a telephone, computer/electronic equipment, and manipulating small objects.
Requires working under pressure and rapidly for prolonged periods of time.
*Hours of Work
40 hours per week. (Flex-time work schedule) Weekend hours. Sundays are required.
Sunday: 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Monday – Thursday: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Available and on-call, as needed in special situations
