Zion Mountain Ranch is a boutique property in a rural setting near Zion National Park. Our 79 cabin units, restaurant, gift shop, and small campground are in need of experienced and positive management to carry out the Ranch's vision and brand (zmr.com).
This position provides a great opportunity for someone who is seeking a managment position that is active and has multiple areas of responsibility. The guests of Zion Mountain Ranch enjoy the unique atmosphere and rural hospitality of our staff creating an ideal position the right person. Responsiblities
This applicant will need to show hospitality related experience and/or education in the field or demonstrate how the position is suited to the applicant. Due to the nature of the business, the ability to work weekends, holidays, and other busy reservation times will be needed in order to suite guest and staff needs during these higher traffic times. This is a working ranch with animals and miles of territory. While the agriculture department is not a part of this position, it will be helpful to be physically able and willing to help in these areas if there is an immediate need. The applicant should enjoy the outdoors and being in a rural location. The most important qualification is a positive and willing attitude that lifts others to do their best!

Responsiblities
- Expert, professional phone and customer service skills and ability to teach this to front end staff
- Brand training and coaching of department heads and key staff, as well as reprimanding as required
- Oversee group, VIP guests, and events to insure a positive guest satisfaction
- Oversee scheduling and payroll, working closely with department heads and payroll accountants.
- Oversee operational needs of restaurant and work closely with Exec. Chef and Lead Servers to insure guest satisfaction
- Coordinate and assist the retail and campground management, purchasing agent and key staff.
- Work hands on in a variety of positions and hours to insure staff and guests are being managed correctly through out the day in all areas of the Ranch.
- Be the contact point for guests requiring special needs, liabilities, or excessive issues that require sensitivity.
- Become expert on all aspects of the reservation software at the restaurant and front desk in order to help with reporting, technical issues, and other needs that may arise.
- Work closely with CFO and all accounting departments to create and maintain budgets, analyze procedures and purchasing and then oversee implementation of them.
- Coordinate ideas with Social Media, IT, and Marketing Managers to implement and analyze guest experience and visitation
- Work very closely with ownership to understand and implement the vision and brand of Zion Mountain Ranch, providing guests with an always increasing level of experience.
