What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service - Front Counter Lead position at ZIPS Cleaners?
The successful Customer Service Associate will be a quick learner, reliable and have the ability to multitask. In this position, the employee will interact with customers to check their clothing in and ready it for dry cleaning, laundry or alterations as well as check the clothing out when work is completed.
The successful candidate will be able to think on their feet to ensure that the customer has a great experience with us. This is an excellent opportunity to join a team of customer focused & a well known dry cleaning business. Full-time preferred. This role is a key holder.
Retail counter experience is required. Must know how to use a point-of-sale system and be able to process a customer transaction with a credit card or cash.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ability to be smile, be friendly with customers & make a great first impression
- Maintain high degree of regular and punctual attendance
- Ensure all customer needs are satisfied in a prompt, efficient and professional manner
- Accurately handle all money transactions
- Help promote sales initiatives, new procedures, programs
IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Strong communications skills
- Computer literacy
- High degree of reliability and reliable transportation a must
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Ability to stand for up to 6 hours
- Ability to lift 20 pounds
