Job Summary:
The Sr. Chemical Process Technician will provide technical service, sales support, and troubleshooting activities related to the use of Client's automotive pretreatment products and solutions at the Harley-Davidson Tomahawk, Wisconsin plant.
This is a challenging role that requires managing technical service, sales support, and troubleshooting activities. The successful candidate will have strong problem resolution and technical leadership skills, as well as excellent customer relationship skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage technical service, sales support, and troubleshooting activities related to the use of Client's automotive pretreatment products and solutions.
- Order product, track shipments, monitor inventory levels and usages of products.
- Develop effective account management and service support strategies to provide outstanding customer service and support commitment.
- Perform daily tests and quality audits to ensure processes are within specifications.
- Record results and provide reports to customer management and staff.
- Represent Client at plant meetings and ensure the rapid resolution of problems.
- Maintain high standards and professional image of the company and comply with company policies and processes.
- Sustain Tier 2 supplier coordination with the customer.
- Champion site continuous-improvement projects that result in process efficiencies and recognized value.
Requirements
- AS/AA or BA/BA in engineering, technology, or business with 1-3 years of relevant experience.
- Manufacturing experience with significant experience in a sales or service function, preferably at a customer site location.
- A strong work ethic and excellent customer relationship skills.
- Strong communication skills both internally and externally.
- Strong problem resolution and technical leadership skills.
- Strong PC capability.
