Who We Are Looking For:
As an HR Generalist, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive human resources support to the organization. You will work closely with the HR team and other departments to ensure effective implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs. This includes managing employee relations, recruitment and selection, compensation and benefits administration, training and development, performance management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations
What You Will Do:
- Employee Relations: Act as a liaison between employees and management, addressing concerns, grievances, and conflicts. Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and legal compliance, mediate disputes, and facilitate effective communication within the organization.
- Performance Management: Help develop and implement performance evaluation processes. Provide training on performance management best practices and collaborate with managers to address performance issues, deliver feedback, and implement performance improvement plans.
- Compensation and Benefits: Support the implementation of employee benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks. Address employee inquiries related to compensation and benefits.
- HR Policies and Compliance: Help develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations. Maintain accurate employee records, manage HR databases, and safeguard the confidentiality of employee information.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate employee and manager training programs with the Director of Learning and Development.
- Employee Engagement and Retention: Organize employee engagement initiatives and events.
- HR Analytics and Reporting: Collect and analyze HR data to identify trends and measure key HR metrics. Generate reports and provide insights to support management decision-making, utilizing data to contribute to strategic HR planning.
- HR Operations: Provide day-to-day HR support by answering employee inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures. Support employee lifecycle processes, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HRIS data, ensuring confidentiality and data security.
What This Role Requires:
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HR, with a focus on employee relations, recruitment,
compensation and benefits, training and development, and performance management.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective relationships with employees at all levels
of the organization.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Proficient in MS Office applications and HRIS systems.
