ZoomCare is seeking a Vice President of Clinical Performance Improvement
to join our team! The Vice President of Clinical Performance Improvement is responsible for leading performance improvement initiatives across ZoomCare clinics to enhance provider and patient experience, optimize workflows, and maximize efficiency. The Vice President leverages data-driven methodologies and operational excellence frameworks to drive continuous improvement, ensure regulatory compliance, and implement best practices in clinic operations. The role focuses on accommodating increasing demand and optimizing performance for partners and for value-based contracts.

- Lead performance improvement initiatives across ZoomCare clinics to enhance patient experience, optimize workflows, and maximize efficiency.
- Utilize data-driven methodologies to identify bottlenecks, improve scheduling efficiency, and enhance provider (ZP) and medical assistant/registrar (ZA) productivity.
- Develop, implement, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to clinic operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence frameworks.
- Ensure that department managers and the executive team are aware of variations in clinic performance and that work is initiated to address negative performance.
- Mentor clinic leadership in performance improvement and operational improvement strategies.
- Collaborate with ZPs, ZAs, and support teams to implement best practices in patient flow, documentation, and resource utilization.
- Work closely with IT and data analytics teams to refine reporting tools and provide actionable insights to clinic leadership.
- Oversee the EHR configuration and optimization including workflows and schedules.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while maintaining a patient-first approach.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive value-based care strategy to align with organizational goals and improve care outcomes.
- Design, implement and execute value-based care programs across clinics tailoring initiatives to specific clinical needs.
- Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement in clinical quality performance and cost of care.
- Support the development and implementation of strategic value-based contract relationships.
- Effectively communicate program objectives and performance to operational and clinical leaders, fostering alignment and shared accountability.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align value-based contract efforts with overall business objectives.
- Develop and implement training programs for clinic staff to support operational efficiency and process improvements.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 10 years of experience in healthcare operations leadership.
- Bachelor's degree required; Master’s in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field, preferred.
- 3 years experience improving clinic performance and revenue capture related to value-based payment contracts.
- Strong background in process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar frameworks.
- Proven ability to analyze complex workflows, identify inefficiencies, and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
- Experience with healthcare technology, including EHR systems like athenahealth, and data analytics platforms.

- Salary Range: $200,000 - $225,000 depending on experience
- Other Compensation: May be eligible for other compensation such as bonuses

- Fast-paced clinical and corporate environments with frequent collaboration across teams.
- Remote work model with occasional on-site clinic visits.
- May require travel between clinic locations.
