Our client is a growing specialty manufacturing operations developing and produces high quality engineering solutions for aerospace, industrial & medical applications. Company has a stable history and strong long-term projections.
Position Overview:
- Leads the accounting & finance function for our client, which is based in Scottsville, NY, roughly 20 minutes South of Rochester. Minimal to no travel required.
- Reports directly to parent company CFO and interacts daily with Director of Sales and Director of Operations as a key person on the leadership team. Supports and collaborates with parent company portfolio company controllers.
- Prepares monthly financial statements in a timely manner, including the Profit and Loss statements, Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flows. Works with the Director of Operations and Director of Sales to understand trends/variances to budgets and prior periods, and to implement the resultant strategic changes.
- Heavy involvement in the cash generation cycle, including working capital management. Key involvement includes timely collection of receivables, disbursement management and collaboration with buyers on management of inventory levels.
- Reconciles all balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
- Oversees consistent application of internal financial controls and adherence to company policies to ensure transactions are authorized, accurately recorded, and properly reported.
- Prepares annual Budget in collaboration with the leadership team.
- Processes payroll using ADP and administers key HR functions
- Adheres to procedures for timely closing and reporting.
- Works closely with various third-party professional firms including the external audit firm.
- Enhances and standardizes internal business processes to help the business run in an efficient and profitable manner.
Salary : $100,000 - $110,000
