Regional Sales Manager (Chemicals or Wastewater exp req)
Location: within 100 Miles of Atlanta, Georgia
Territory: Southeast Region (GA, AL, MS, and FL) 
Salary: $140,000 - $150,000 Commission Bonus (1st yr OTE =$180 )
Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, 401k w/ match, PTO, mileage reimbursement, travel expenses
Job Type: Full-Time 
Travel: Ability to travel up to 60% regionally via car and air (2-3 days per week)

Regional Sales Manager (Chemicals or Wastewater exp req) Description

Our client, a chemical manufacturing company, is seeking a dynamic Remote Regional Sales Manager to spearhead business growth in Atlanta, GA, and surrounding territory. You'll take charge of a multi-million-dollar sales portfolio targeting municipalities across GA, AL, MS, and FL. Not only will you drive regional expansion, but you'll also lead a talented team in Florida. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales management, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a passion for business growth. To be successful, you must be a self-starter with strong technical knowledge and an understanding of how to win municipal bids. Regional Sales Manager (Chemicals or Wastewater exp req) Responsibilities

• Develop sales initiatives, growth strategies, and plans
• Establish contact and build relationships with current and potential accounts
• Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders
• Follow, research, and make recommendations based on industry trends and best practices
• Manage existing client portfolios
• Maintain CRM data and sales forecasts
• Participate in applicable regional and national trade shows 
• Assist internal engineering and project management staff 
• Collaborate and support sales efforts for colleagues in other regions 
• Coordinate preparation of the annual sales budget 

Regional Sales Manager (Chemicals or Wastewater exp req) Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required
• 5 years of sales and account management experience required
• 5 years of industrial chemicals or wastewater industry experience required
• 3 years of Sales management (leading a team) experience required
• Understanding of municipal project purchasing processes and selection protocols required
• CRM experience required
