Wyoming Seminary Upper School seeks a Part-Time Chinese Language Teacher for the 2024-25 school year. The ideal candidate must be a dynamic individual who possesses a willingness to work closely with departmental colleagues and participate in curriculum design, and is willing to teach select courses within the department. The successful candidate will join an experienced, dedicated faculty that is deeply committed to the entire student experience.

Responsibilities:

• Teaches one course
• Provides academic support to students outside of class time
• Potential opportunities for additional responsibilities including coverage of study halls and campus spaces, substitute teaching, and other related duties

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree preferred
• Secondary teaching or relevant experience preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and administrators
• Proficiency with current educational technology and with a range of current pedagogical techniques
• Invested in positively and actively contributing to the school’s growth and development
