The Role

As a Data Capture Coordinator (DCC) you’ll be capturing data for the Doxel Data Pipeline by scanning active construction sites with our helmet mounted 360 degree camera. Your mission is to set up at a construction site, capture data in targeted areas, and upload the results to the Doxel Data Pipeline for access by Doxel Operations and Engineering teams. This role is a part-time position paid on a per-day rate. The expected schedule will be 1-2 days per week for 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Data Capture is the primary responsibility for the DCC, which involves safely capturing images at a construction site during scheduled time frames utilizing various Doxel provided capture devices and techniques.
• Have a clear understanding of the Weekly Scanning Schedule that includes equipment to be used, location to be scanned, and when scanning is to take place.
• Develop a high level of confidence level utilizing the Doxel equipment which could include, but not be limited to, High-End Drones, Lidar Scanners, Handheld Panoramic Image and Video Cameras, and others.
• Maintain and Secure Data Capture Equipment
• Keeping Open Communication with team before, during, and after data capture
• After scanning, data will need to be uploaded within a timely manner into a location set and directed by the Doxel Data Capture Technical team.

Qualifications

• Military experience is a huge plus
• Knowledge of the construction industry is required
• Able to focus on completing primary objectives and any secondary objectives while remaining flexible and able to use good judgement to respond to changing field conditions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Drive (Sheets)
• Familiarity with Slack or similar team communication and productivity platforms
• Must be physically capable of lifting 40lbs and walking several hours a day around a construction site.
• Must comply with local authority having jurisdiction safety guidelines and OSHA regulations.
• UAV certification and piloting experience is preferred
