The SnowSports On Snow Supervisor will be responsible for the guest arrival to post lesson experience, operational training, instructor inventory, work distribution, and administration as it relates to record keeping for payroll, scheduling, inventory, redemption of products and services, employee evaluations, feedback, etc., and to instill a safety culture throughout The Summit SnowSports School.

Come work and play at Seattles home mountain, The Summit at Snoqualmie. Located an hour from Seattle, at the junction where the Pacific Crest Trail crosses Interstate 90. With summer activities ramping up with spectacular Mountain Biking trails and Scenic Lift Rides, there is lots to do all year long.

Job duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Effectively communicate to develop rapport with existing staff and enhance employee retention.
• Help identify recruitment needs in terms of pros for ski/ride, youth/adult, rookie/veteran.
• Encourage existing staff to recruit friends and family to help achieve targeted number of staffing requirements.
• Supervise scheduling to optimize instructor head count and cover programming (i.e. products, prices, times, locations) adequately, by targeting resources to cover the 26 Red Day peak demand.
• Supervise hiring, activation & seasonal separation.

What we are looking for:

• Profound working knowledge of the Summit SnowSports School or another School of similar scope.
• Level 2 PSIA/AASI Certification and Youth Credentials preferred.
• Ability to work independently with a minimum amount of supervision.
• Ability to evolve, adapt and change.
• Capability to deal with deadlines and workplace pressure, while maintaining a professional presentation.

Wage and Benefit Info:

The wage range for this positions is: from $21.00 to $24.00

This is a non-benefited role.

All individuals may contribute to the 401(k). An employee must work 1,000 hours in a calendar year to qualify for the discretionary match (there is a 2 year vesting cliff).

All individuals accrue sick time at 1 hour per 40 hours worked to a maximum of 64 hours per year.
