Responsibilities:
- Provides high quality customer service to residents and guest
- Deliver and serve meals to residents, families, and guests in an efficient, attentive, and courteous manner
- Bus tables in dining room and other areas as necessary
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness in the dining room(s)
- Learn core menu items and specials in order to understand and relate the menu to residents and guests
- Complete all dining room opening and closing duties as established by the community
- Ability to act as a liaison between residents and culinary department
- Maintain a clean professional appearance at all times
- Understand and observe infection control procedures related to culinary department
- Must possess a current Food Handler's Card
- Ability to multi-task and handle a fast-paced work environment in a friendly and professional manner
- Dedicated and passionate to serve seniors
- Excellent customer service skills
- Positive attitude, the flexibility to perform various duties in service to the residents
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to relate well to residents and their families
- Have a neat, professional, courteous manner and appearance
- Must be able to read, write and comprehend English
